"Dulces sueños" is an original song by Claudia García meant to prepare students to go on an adventure of their own creation.  You can play the video below for them while they simply listen while taking deep breaths.  You can paraphrase the lyrics to emphasize that they can dream up anything that makes them feel happy and or powerful.  Let them know that we're going to take turns sharing what we "dreamt" about after the "nap."

Once students share, you can use the song to discuss lullabies, slow tempo, legato articulation, and make cultural connections with any nap/bedtime traditions the students share.  You can also turn this into a visual art or writing activity by having them illustrate or write what they dreamt.
